Actually, I think Fox's specials were very, very loosely based on certain aspects of Starfox.

Fire Fox = When you die.
Reflector = Barrel Roll.
Fox Illusion = Boost.
Blaster = I believe these were used in Starfox 64's unlockable on-foot multiplayer mode.


Still, it takes a while to realize this.

i didnt say she sits around all day, but she most likely doesnt physically train herself much, her strongpoint is magic, she's in the books not doing pushups under a waterfall, and honestly i dont mind having her in the game i jus dont see why Lyn would be such a bad choice, she could easily be considered one of the faster characters, her moveset would be believable, and it would add to the FE roster which SSB is lacking.....why not?

and how can you bring up fox? evryone knows fox is trained, his moveset is believable. zelda like someone said has a fraction of the power of a god, her moveset is believable cuz she was trained by impa, plus din's fire, farore's wind etc was in the game.

and the comment about zelda being raised by the sheikah, yur wrong, that was only in the manga and the manga isnt canon, she was trained by impa, yes, raisedby her tribe? not known.


as for items i think it would be pretty tight to add jelly beans from a boy and his blob, u pick them up and throw them at someone which changes their form(trampoline, ladder, hole, bubble, rocket) which can interact with the environment and with other players.

Did you miss this or something? Evil maniacal genius is always predicted to come for Princess Zelda? Raised/trained by the Sheikah Tribe? She used a sword in TP? She's blessed by the gods?
And haven't you ever heard of the very, very, cliche phrase, "Don't judge a book my it's cover"?

If anything, play the games and learn about the character before you start bashing on them.

Marina for next character. Wolfie as Resetti, when he appears he'll start nagging against the losing player. A subspace emissary with more level traversing repetition. A item that bans Metaknight from you game. Snake will stay and his moves have more broken range plus he can't get K.O'd anymore.

In the the next Smash I am really hoping for a really well developed storyline, as in uses actual locations from the character's games instead of a made up world.

Nice post.
Storylines in crossover fighting games are usually nonexistent or negligible, but I would like the idea of actually going through the character's "worlds".

Maby Bomberman will show for the next smash, isn't the ppl that made mario party the maker of the bomberman games

Also might have more modes besides just time, shock, and coin battle.

I agree with the going through characters worlds idea. That could potentially add a lot of depth to the story. If they do that, they better be sure to represent each world right. When we get franchises like Fire Emblem that don't have one singular plot-line, it can be hard to make a single "world" that represents all the games. It'd be so lame if it was just a Marth/Fire Emblem 1 world. Same thing with Mario, except the concept isn't as difficult, since the characters carry over between the different universes.

That's been done in Subspace Emissary..somewhat. Though I do agree it should be more deep, should it return.
