New Super Mario Bros. Wii Verdict

So, what's the verdict? Is the game really worth it? There has been a lot of new info on the game, and a lot of surprising info at that. Harder levels, new power-ups, special prizes, Super Guide, as well as a lot of other stuff that were a huge surprise to a lot of people. So what do you think? Is it worth the $50? Or is it still just "a port of a DS game", as some have called it?

I think the game looks great.

I think $50 may be a bit too high pricewise. I think $40 would be better.

Getting it. Besides being hyped for it, (that hasn't happened for a Mario game in like 5 years) there isn't much else this year.

well the game looks great to me. It's like a "Best of Mario" game basically, with multiplayer. Awesome, if you ask me. Can't wait. TWO WEEKS!!!

I don't plan on buying it. Until Nintendo does something that stretches it's hardware, I won't give them any money.

I'm not buying into this "It looks this bad because the Wii can barely support 4 player 2D" excuse.
Nintendo is just being lazy, as they always are.
They pump out a few good titles every year, and the rest is rehashed junk based off those titles, or casual nonsense.

So far the game has good reviews. It's nostalgia Mario gameplay in the modern world. Awesome. It may seem "rehashed", but it really isn't. It just has stuff from other games, but it doesn't really copy them in any "rehashed" way. All-new levels, design, multiplayer, power-ups, and enemies make this game qualify for brand-new.

Yes, I've heard there's actually a lot more content than what it appears to be offering.
