I'm sure the designers would love to have those features. It's just some policy Nintendo has or something. I just talked with a random person on Conduit via weird server wii speak glitch. He didn't ask me where I lived, what was my address. We just added each other now, nothing of the sort that Nintendo thinks happened. Drives me nuts they don't want that feature.

Oh, it depends on the games. Missouri Police say adults shouldn't play Animal Crossing

Animal Crossing is such a dangerous game.

For games like that there should be some sort of precaution, especially pokemon. But if the game is primarily for a older audience the said features should be available. I've never played animal crossing.

I agree with this too, but Animal Crossing would be much better without FC's and just an open server.

A game that is communication based probably shouldn't be played by immature 12 year olds (no offense to anyone) on the internet anyway, at least my parents would have never allowed me to do it. Heck my parent didn't even let me have the password to get online until I was like 16.

To be safe without being a pain, Nintendo needs a parental block system. The parents could program the console to block out chat, customization(like Emblems on MKDS), and even Wifi altogether if they're that paranoid. Nintendo could even put an instruction manual where it is clearly visible that says Parents: Read this Before Giving this System to your Child or something like that on the front that teaches parents how to program the parental system. They could also have a video tutorial on their site. I know nothing's idiot proof, but as long as Nintendo makes it idiot proof enough, they shouldn't have to worry about their young audience playing Wifi games. It'll at the very least, let Nintendo keep their image and all that stuff.

EDIT: instead of the game systems themselves, Nintendo needs to do to the games for now.

Thanks to my sister for the sig

I'm pretty sure the Wii has parental controlls very similar to this...

People can be idiots. Non-Gamers are the whole reason why all this is happening.

I remember watching a woman who said Mario Kart Wii was SICK because it involved baby Peach Crashing in a car.

But GTA 4 However, She says "Hmm, There's No babies there :D"
