Will Nintendo ever cut the "safe" stuff?

All these friend codes, not being able to talk to people you're playing, can't add anyone you just played, list goes on.

When will that crap be relinquished.

lol i want them to change this to cause iv played some great cod players but i cant add them its stupid and you should be able to speak to people on every game while in a game

Monster Hunter Tri will reportedly not use the friend code system and might support Wii Speak.

Yeah I hate all this crap you have to go through just to add someone, Im an xbox guy or at least was, I sold it, you should just be able to add someone by typing in a gamertag or an email or something

yeah, the PS3 and XBOX are WAY more user-friendly. Nintendo needs to understand that they're losing the fight anyway.

I've heard rumors that the new Tatsunoko vs. Capcom won't use friend codes either.

Yes, yes, friend codes suck. We know. That's just how things are. Nintendo hasn't made much sense these days.

It can be very annoying for me when i run up to my computer to write down a friendcode and run to my basement were my wii is to only find that i wrote the wrong friendcode down. .___.

I don't think they should end the friend code system. I just think they should allow us to add people who are evenly skilled so we always have a challenge especially on MKwii and MKDS. I don't like the idea of chat people could spread nasty rumors of other people like

I think the game designers have to option not to use it, like madden 09 had FC's but you could also friend people off of the EA server and games like Custom Robo and Metriod have the Rival list which is pretty much the same as your friend list.
