This 1's for the guys who pitch ideas for Nintendo's third party titles. Guilty Gear Isuka, and Guilty X2: on the
DS. Or perhaps a fresh Guilty Gear, done Isuka style. Of course, an X2 style Guilty Gear is nice too.
Anyway, a Guilty Gear on
DS would play like this: the Top Screen be the gameplay (as it's easier to see the Top Screen in fighters). The Bottom Screen would display the Match vitals: Character Health, Tension Gauges, Psyche Burst, Round Lamps, all the normal Guilty Gear HUD.
The 4 cardinal Action Buttons: A, B, X, Y; would be Punch, Kick, Slash, Hard Slash, respectively. L shoulder can be Psyche Burst. R shoulder can be Roman Cancels. Falterless Defense would be B & Y plus D-pad back. Dust Strikes would be A & X. These are on the ground, while jumping, & when crouching
Normal Attacks, Specials, Overdrives, Instant Finishers, etc; would be done like the classic Guilty Gears, only the Bottom Screen could also act as shortcuts for Specials or Over Drives, like Bleach on
DS. Perhaps normal moves and Gatling Combos could be like Bleachespecially Manual and Auto Controlls.
Exclusive features like in Accent Core Plus would be most welcome.
Now, as an Isuka sequel: everything above applies. Only with Guilty Gear Isuka's gameplay and controls.
The Shoulder Buttons however, would be altered for the Isuka style.
L shoulder would perform Back Attacks. R shoulder would cause your fighter to volte-face, or Turn Around in place. R + X, R + A, & R + B would exicute Lane Change, Lane Attack, and Lane Dust.
Psyche Bursts could be done with either L + R or L + B, or something. Roman Cancels could R + Y, or something.
Of course, Online play would be a major plus, as long as it doesn't upset the Offline play.
And please tell them not to forget the CPU opponents!!
Phew! That was daunting! So what do you think?
If Guilty Gear lingo confuses anyone, talk it over with any who "talks Guilty Gear".
