Every new gen

With every new generation of Pokemon usually comes with two versions of the game. Which Version did you pick first in every gen and what do you think future versions will be?

well here's mine
1st gen: Yellow
2nd gen: Gold
3rd gen: Ruby
4th gen: Pearl
5th gen: Black

I'm not sure about future games but I hope they continue to be awesome :)

Blue, Silver, Ruby, Pearl, White.

Heres mine: Yellow, Soul silver(if it counts) :p , Diamond, & White.

well here's all i got...

1st:Red
2nd:Silver and lost my gold includes my GBC :( and also Soul Silver that maybe count too :p
3rd:ruby, saphire and emerald
4th:Diamond (well its traded after i beat the whole game)
5th:White

Yea Fire Red/Leaf Green count as 1st gen and HeartGold/SoulSilver count as second gen since they are remakes of their original games..

1st Gen: I had Fire Red. I still own Leaf Green.
2nd Gen: Soul Silver
3rd Gen: I had Ruby. Still Have Sapphire and Emerald.
4th Gen: Diamond.
5th Gen: Skipped.
