This is the official discussion thread for the Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Any new infomation or talk about the game goes here.

Release Dates:

Japan: TBA
America: December 7th
Europe: TBA
Australia: TBA

Infomation about the game

It is on the Nintendo DS.
Link rides a train, which is controlled and has a cannon, similar to the boat from Phantom Hourglass.
Link is able (at least for one dungeon) to control a Phantom (the "armor-clad warrior"), just like multiplayer mode from Phantom Hourglass.
The Boomerang is back.
There is an item that works similar to the Deku Leaf from The Wind Waker.
A whistle appears in the trailer for a second next to the Phantom's image. It is aasumed that these two are connected. Maybe Link needs to use the whistle to summon the Phantom?
Link can now use a whip to access places he might not have been able to without the whip. Idiana Link anyone?

even though i dig the cel shaded graphics i still wish they'd put out a more 'realistic' zelda for ds... something like ocarina perhaps? i wonder if they'll try to make spirit tracks fit into the windwaker/phantom hourglass universe??
