I stumbled upon an article on IGN about the new Bangai-O-Spirits game for the DS. From the makers of Gunstar Heroes and Ikaruga, it's got an insane number of levels, a new innovative Sound Load and 2 player co-op. I think this will be 2008's best portable shmup.
