Well, there are multiple AWFUL things about it...
1. It's $40.
2. It's not wifi
3. The graphics are basically unchanged.
4. The story is near nonexistent.
5. It most likely is voiceover-free

Yeah, you should REALLY take advantage of the second point, since this IS the WIFI games board.

1. Sureeee it's $40, it's $60 where I live but doesn't really matter.
2. WiFi doesn't make a game, the game makes WiFi. Majority of the best games on the DS aren't WiFi compatible.
3. Wrong. See the animations and terrain. Animations are spectacular IMO. The sprites are slightly unchanged but then again, graphics don't make the game.
4. FFTA2 isn't about story, it's about gameplay and getting your characters to the best.
5. Almost? All FF games are voice free, doesn't make them crappy, does it?

Worth getting, definitely. This game is made friendly to new players and vetarans.
Graphics are very good, environments, spell casting effects looks sharp. Story is okay its not as good as FFTA but it delivers. The biggest miss of this game is NO WIFI, grr.

The game is okay. Not as good as the first one, in my opinion. The graphics are better, there are new jobs and a new class, but combos, totemas, and judge points were taken out. The accuracy / damage system changed in battle, which I don't like too much (reminds me of getting mad with Advanced Wars). No more Beastmaster / Morpher, which means Hunters are no different from Archers as much. Some missions involve no fighting at all, you need to collect items to get items in shops, its hard to find clans just wandering around to train on... and of course, the storyline isn't as good. Storylines are what really makes me like a game, and there were too many changes with subplots in the game. The same went for FFTA, but at least you're progressively getting rid of the crystals thoughout the game while you'e only battling Illua at the end ofthe game.

I haven't completed all the missions yet, but I hope some subplots are exciting.

WiFi woulda been nice, though.
Spell GFX are AWESOME, story line kinda weak, though. Auctions are great!

21hours. Haven't played it for a couple of days due to life issues.

I did around 160 missions. And I found out there was some type of "totema" thing called a Scion, and so far I've only gotten that choker thing from defeating the five "kings" (mages).
