Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard

I just got this game the other day and since I haven't seen anyone make a thread about it I (obviously) decided to. So what is your opinion about this great (read: awesome classic RPG) game?

I've started to really like this game, even though the difficulty is just madness, and the way it's completely balanced. Another thing that's amazing about EO2 is the extensive customizing. It's virtually limitless. I could go on and on, but I'd like to hear what you think, so whaddaya think? =D

Etrian Odyssey is just a simple menu turn-based RPG. I admit that I do not even own it, but that is simply due to the release dates always concurs alongside a major RPG release.
