Should GH:OT be Wi-Fi enabled? - 07-04-2008

Yes, I know, it's the first handheld Guitar Hero and they don't know if it would be a great hit or not. But what I'm asking is that shouldn't it be Wi-Fi enabled? That way you could Guitar Duel with people on any song, possibly even download new songs like you can with GH3 and Rock Band. I think that should make another Guitar Hero for the NDS but this time with new songs, and Wi-Fi adaptibility. That would be cool.

Well, I guess it's a big hit because it's the first handheld Guitar Hero.

Edit: But it's also a big smack in the face without Wi-Fi.

Re: Should GH:OT be Wi-Fi enabled? - 07-07-2008

I dunno, could there have been an issue due to the fact that the fret controller is plugged into the gba slot? (Just spitballing here) or......

Maybe they needed to see how the game worked out as is, and have plans to implement wifi in the future, of which Im sure there will be a sequal announced by--oh, Christmas I'd say. Out by next summer.

These guys know what they are doing. They KNEW it would sell like icewater in hell, and they KNEW they could hold back some goodies to put in the next one so it too would sell mad units.....and YOU know you will buy it haha!

All said, I like it, despite some cramping. Great song choices for the most part too. I heard China Grove on the radio the other day, as well as Breed and Jessie's Girl. Cant help but think it was due to the game's release.
