Advice for FFTA2 - 07-07-2008

Im stuck in the storyline missions. I'm at the part where you need to get pearlmoss to help Cid get better. You have to fight two giant beetles and an enourmous bug in a sandpit.

I just can beeat them though! My characters are all either lvl 5, 6, 7, and one lvl 8. And Im using the standard classes for the characters (although a law prevents me from using my nu mue effectively). That giant bug has an attack that covers the entire field and takes 30-50% of all my character's health! Should I just try leveling up A LOT using side quests, or am I just doing this wrong?(also, the rival clans are ANNOYING! I'm never able to beat them either when they block my way..)

Thanks for any help!

I was at like lv 25 at that point you need to do more then just the story missions if you want to beat the game you can tell what the level your units need to be around at in order to beat the quest. and if your units arn't busy mastering abilities then they are being usless so keep swiching equipment and jobs to make your team more diverse and better able to handle troublesume laws and conditions.

oh and your up to the point where you should get the following caln privalges to help you train from these clan trails
Teamwork 1 Speed up 2/3 clan title relations/oldfriends
then using that clan privleage and your team at lv 11 or higher beat
teamwork-aptitude ex up 1/2/3 clan title hands of steel/hands of gold/hands of divinty
if you need help betting those let me know I will give you tips
