I think I'm just a really odd person for hating RPG's, since it seems to me that everyone else does. Don't get me wrong, I do play some, most likely turn-based games, like Fire Emblem, Advance Wars, and recently, I got FFTA2. So, today, I got Final Fantasy IV. I know I'm just going to play a few minutes and put it down, 'cause I hate RPG's, but I just got it to have it, y'know? I dunno, I think I just get these games 'cause I think I'll magically be cured of my dislike for RPG's. I mean, I've tried hard. I made a sucky team in Pokemon, only to dump the whole game, because I got so bored of it, and it was so tedious just to have a good team. That's basically how I think of most RPG's. Just leveling up characters, finding stuff, having boring boss battles... Y'know. Turn based tactical games only work for me because they always have such awesome stories and characters... RPG's just suck most of the time. xD
So, does anyone else hate RPG's, or am I just going to be a lonely old nub on the matter?
Haha, I've never liked those either. xP
Although, I was offered Super Paper Mario, and I might borrow it from my brother when I get the chance. Maybe, maybe not. I'll probably just end up getting Radiant Dawn. xD
I never really liked turn-based RPGs; they're just way too repetitive. I know, Pokemon is practically the same thing, but it has variety to each game so it doesn't get boring as easily.
yhea I know what you mean its just that a lot of RPGs takes a heck of a lot of work to figure out where your going next and you always have to serch for your destenation (which in FF can be quite tedious) thats y I get swtratagy guides so I don't have to worry about where I'm going next
