Brothers in Arms DS VS COD4

Hey there,

I am after a good shoot 'em up game and used IGN and Gamespot for my source of reviews, as I always do. However, their reviews are conflicting and one says one thing and the other says another.

I've checked out their trailers too and both look amazing.

I'm stumped!

Which one shall I get? It's Pay Day tomorrow and I want to go get myself a new game so can someone help me out?

Please, if you've played one or both - post your thoughts and comparisons for me. Pros and cons too!

Ive only played cod4

its great and has single card play which b.i.a does not

Ummmm, they're both great games, but choose Brothers in Arms, because if you're traveling you could play that. Their both even that's the only way that Brothers in Arms triumph's over COD4.

I would get Brothers In Arms. It will last you a lot longer.

I agree with this. Metroid Prime: Hunters is the best DS FPS at the moment (despite coming out over 2 years ago), and most people hate it because it didn't have the epic single-player that the Metroid series normally boasts. However, in my opinion the multi-player/wifi easily makes up for it.
I've only played COD4 on DS, the single player was pretty random. It had good sound for a DS game, but the controls were pretty flawed, it just didn't do as well as MP:H did in terms of control system and HUD. The graphics were up to standard for a DS game and the multi-player was pretty fun, but slow-paced in comparison to MP:H.
However, if you do follow my opinions and get Metroid, you may be disappointed. The learning curve for Wifi is huge, and there are several grievers (glitchers, hackers, campers etc.). If you find a good game with someone at your level it's great though.

That sounds cool. I did get COD4 and am now bored with it... I might go do a trade in today then.
