I was doing some recent searching on this game and found a whole blog on it.
This game is set to revolve around my favorite character in the series...ROXAS! Apparently the story is set for Roxas' untold story while Sora was asleep. This includes scenes on the fight with Riku which was a cutscene at the end of the first Kingdom Hearts game in the series. In the blog there is a video of more cutscenes and screenshots of the game itself which prove to show that the original gameplay is still maintained (no cards this time thank goodness). I cannot wait for this game but sadly I must for it will not come out until about Spring next year (not compromised). Leave your comments now and I shall come back with results on Kingdom Hearts: Birth in Sleep for the PSP.

I've known about it as well but just recently found these details.
Nothing wrong but just didn't like the whole element of it. It was a big swerve from the original gameplay that made me love the series in the first place.
