No. Sonic games were released on the Wii/Gamecube because when Sega dropped out of the console market, Nintendo was no longer a competitor, so Sega started making games on the Gamecube.

Plus, if Nintendo had bought out Sega, then all of Sega's games would be exclusive to Nintendo's systems. However, that's not the case, so that's why there's Sonic games on the PS2, PS3, and the 360.

I have always liked SEGA and still do. Sure their recent Sonic games have been "meh" but the other things they have worked on have been gold(F-Zero GX Awesome, awesome, AWESOME!) Though the day stages in Unleashed have been a step in the right direction as far as Sonic games go. Here's hoping they can take another step in the right direction with S&tBK. Gameplay wise of course.

BTW there's more to SEGA then just Sonic games... -_-

Sega can make amazing games when they try. They're not limited to Sonic. In fact, Sonic is probably their worst franchise at the moment gameplay-wise. Sonic Unleashed wasn't really that good at all and certainly not a game that redeemed the Sonic series. I like Sega but at the moment hate Sonic.
