Conan is correct, that the GCN version was the original one, so Midna's eye was originally on the left.....although it's technically her right eye since the side an eye is on is ususally based on the owner's perspective, not ours.;) I did vote for the Wii version, though.:D Oh yeah, Colum, please keep posts on-topic. Anyway, if you think about it, Link's triforce hand is the RIGHT it TP: wii,
but isn't it usually on the left...?
Twilight Princess was originally meant for the Gamecube, where Link would have had his traditionaly left-handedness since it wouldn't really matter which hand he held his sword in. When the desicion was made to port it to the Wii, they switched the entire game along the horizontal axis so that players would be able to control Link's sword with their right hands, since the majority of people (and therefore players) are right handed. That's why Midna's eye is switched, and why Link has his triforce tatto on the right instead of left.
