The Official Friendcodes Pokémon League -
08-08-09
Welcome ladies and gentlemen, one and all to the Official Friendcodes Pokémon League! We here at Friendcodes.com are dedicated to bringing you the ultimate in entertainment, and so we once again have decided to create our own official League for enterprising trainers to challenge.
---Registration---
Before you can start to fight in the League, you need to get you and your team registered. You are allowed a team of 8 different Pokémon, which you will choose from for each of your battles with the League trainers. In order to register your team, you need to send a PM to our official registration account: fcleague that contains the following:
Your name (duh!)
The eight pokémon you plan to use.
Their nicknames and genders.
You do not need to include movesets; those may be changed in between battles. You have to use the same eight pokémon, though.
Once you've sent the message, and your team has been approved, you will be awarded with the Registered Trainer award:
---The Rules---
These are the officially accepted rules. This list is intended to provide a fair and varied environment in which to battle. Items on this list are not negotiable. Failure to abide by these rules will result in immediate expulsion from the League, and repeat offenses will result in a ban.

* Fissure

---The Pokémon Trainers---
Just like the League in each Pokémon game, we have twelve master trainers for you to fight- eight GYM Leaders and the Elite Four. Unlike the games, each Leader is not required to limit themselves to a single type; instead, they have each chosen two different types around which to build their teams. Battles will be set to level 100, so your pokémon can be of any level.
Once you've defeated the eight Gym Leaders and claimed their badges, you are ready to challenge the Elite Four. Remember- you can't fight any of the E4 in official League-sanctioned matches until you have all eight GL badges. The Elite Four consist of:
Once you've defeated a Gym Leader or Elite Four member in battle, you will receive their badge in the form of an award:
Once you have attained all 12 badges, you will be declared League Champion!
---Final Thoughts---
Please remember that while the Gym Leaders and Elite Four are doing this for your enjoyment, they are real people with real lives. They cannot all be on all the time to accept challenges from you. If the Gym Leader that you want to challenge is not available, try asking a different one for a battle.
Any questions and concerns can be taken to the main Questions Thread, so that everyone can see. If you have a personal problem with something, such as a problem with one of the Gym Leaders or another issue you don't want to make public, then please PM me for help. We'll do our best.
We will get a lot of requests for registration, and it will take a while to go through each and every one. Please have patience; we won't forget you, and everyone who applies will get in eventually.
Thank you all very much, and I wish you luck on your quest for the Championship!

*Post to reserve space*
Because people keep asking: the current plan is for the League to go on as long as there are Gym Leaders willing to play and challengers willing to battle them. So- there is no time limit for sign-ups, challenges, etc.
When I ask for your name when you register, I mean your in-game name, not your username on the forums or your real name.
