actually, Blizzard in Hail has a small chance to bypass Protect and Detect (about a 25% chance I think), so technically that wasn't a dumb move, just a lucky one for your opponent that they broke past it.

The stupidest thing I did? Don't have too many good ones. Usually that happens in other games XD I guess it would be teaching Alakazam Shadow Ball back in Silver. Odd thing is though, Shadow Ball wasn't as weak as it should have been for Alakazam. Not sure if it was a glitch though, but my Sneasel was also insanely powerful with only one physical attack (dig) and two special (faint attack and ice punch). WHY they were as powerful as they were is something I just don't understand, but oh well :rofl:

The dumbest thing I ever did was on my first pokemon game. I didn't know that the master ball was rare or anything, so I used it on the first pokemon I saw, thinking it was meant to be caught with it:). How dumb is that?

The stupidest thing that I ever did was not KO a ditto and it sweeped my Movie darkrai (lvl 100..) after using transform....and the fact that I traded a shiny EVd kyogre for a kirlia lvl 5 on the GTS(chained) and I thought it was a normal one...

I just did the dumbest thing in a long time today. I was EV training with only one attack move, no PP recovery items, and my backup was a lvl 1 Hoothoot for flying. I forgot to restore PP when I fought the girl below Solaceon with 5 Bidoofs and got owned by the team. It was in the middle of training too so I didn't wanna reset and waited for 20 minutes to get PP screwed and struggle to death.
