This is a terrible argument. I don't even know where to begin. For starters though, the rotom forms are more like the castform forms and even that is a stretch since rotom doesn't change types and doesn't change according to the weather. Deoxys' forms are Defense, Attack, Speed and Normal. Rotom doesn't have any of those, and evolves based on which electrical appliance it possesses. Also, the only difference between formes is that electrical appliance forms have slightly more well rounded stats and a single move corresponding to which appliance rotom is possessing. The Deoxys forms all have radically different stats and usages. There are 4 deoxys forms, but 6 rotom ones. Until D/P, which Deoxys form you had was also entirely based on which version of Pokemon you had, from what I hear. Which form of Rotom you have is just up to the player, and you can switch them at will, something you couldn't do with Deoxys until Generation 4. Aside from the fact that they both have forms, how exactly is Rotom ripping off Deoxys? Other pokemon have had different forms too, the earliest of which was unown. If Rotom had an attack form, defense form, speed form, etc. I could understand your argument, but it doesn't.
