The movie yet alone is sometime next summer.
The next generation would probably be in 2 years. So I'm not that excited yet.

Its not Rotom, Rotom has already been in the Japanese cartoon episodes.

(i remember seeing something about it, i think they said it is an electric/bug type, an ant if i can remember

The first hint of what could be the first Generation V Pokémon to be revealed appeared on Thursday evening's broadcast of Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl. A feature on the 12th movie after DP105 showed Pikachu alongside a new Pokémon covered by a graphic. A voice-over by Pokémon anime director Kunihiko Yuyama implied the mysterious Pokémon is an Electric-type.

A trailer for the new movie aired today on the back-end of the episodes airing today. This didn't reveal much but did give hints to a brand new Pokémon. Previous material from the producers suggested an electric Pokémon would be one of the key ones. However, the trailer he blanked out that Pokémon with a question mark. It also featured a shot of Dialga, Palkia & Giratina around a spacial disturbance This movie is scheduled for release in July next year and we'll bring even more info when we have it. The title of the film is scheduled to be revealed on the 13th. CoroCoro is likely to have the data and that usually comes out a few days early so be sure to check back for that.

I Hope you all Pokémon players get excited about this!^^

Just to let you know, it might not be a brand new Pokémon that's confirming a brand new generation, it just might be a pre-evolution or new evolution to a electric Pokémon like Pachirisu or something. It just might be a new forme of something like the new Rotom formes. Don't want to disappoint you but I also don't want everyone to get their hopes up ether. I'm a huge Pokémon fan myself but face it, 3-4 years after the first generation the second generation came out. And I'm saying the third Pokémon game, Pokémon game Blue (Jap) was released on October 10th 1996, and Gold and Silver came out November 21st 1999.

What I'm trying to say is that don't get your hopes up for a new Pokémon generation until possibly 2011 or maybe 2010. Just wait till Platinum, it hasn't even been released out of Japan yet!

Holy crap, yes. I've been waiting for a good BL/OU Firefly/Lighting Bug Pokémon ever since they failed miserably with that stupid crap that is Illumise and Volbeat. And Electric/Bug type combo would be awesome. Let's hope this time they get it right.

Hopefully it'll be a Fire Fly still. It probably won't be, but as long as they don't make it a crap Pokémon, I'll be fine with it.

It'll probably revealed the 5th gen. Pkmn from the movie 12th.
