hidden power

i used the serebii iv calculator for my magby at lvl and it said it had hidden power ice but when i ev trained it the hidden power turned poison. was the calculator wrong or does hidden power change when u lvl up?

The IV calculator isn't 100% effective; beside each calculated Value, it will show a % base of how accurate that number is. Your original IVs were probably off by one or two.

And no, HP type never changes.
