Who makes these rules? If Garchomp is considered "uber", then why not Dragonite? Garchomp can be caught early in the game and raised at ur discretion. If it should be considered an uber, so should Dragonite, Tyranitar, and all other NORMAL, NON LEGENDARY OR NON-SPECIAL EVENT pokemon. Makes no sense. Go to pokemon.marriland.com to see that both Garchomp and Dragonite are ranked FOURTEEN out of all pokemon in strength... Metagross... Tyranitar too. This is an outrage!

Dragonite can be killed by nearly every OU sweeper/tank in current use.

Garchomp always draws first blood.

Garchomp with a swords dance is able to 2HKO (or less) anything in the OU metagame, and with the yache berry setup, a swords dance is NOT a hard thing to obtain.
furthermore, there are no solid counters for garchomp in the OU metagame.
if you think of one, let me know, but for clarification, a counter is a pokemon that can switch in on an attack, take the attack, and pose an immediate threat to the opponent.

People don't understand the meaning of "no counters", Jibbeh. D:

Nice response, btw.

Also, Scarf Garchomp is another dilemma as it can revenge kill things/weaken without much prediction.

Exactly. Those few points make a difference.

Plus, Scizor can't even OHKO (Nor 2HKO, amirite?) with Bullet Punch. <___<
