Re: EV training Guide - 05-26-07

WoW:D, this is pretty great. *karma* It's useful, however it might take a while to keep battling those trainers over and over. Are you planning on adding locations for wild pokemon that give out the different EVs? I know they are shown on sites like Serebii.net, but you could give us the best locations for each Ev needed. Lol, just a sort of "request".;)

Re: EV training Guide - 05-26-07

On speed you can add an area with wild zubats (dont know one at the moment)

at the Old chatea you can fight ghastlys for 1 sp attack EV each (2 with macho brace, 4 with pokerus and macho brace =D )

For defence, a place full of rock types (some cave probably)

Those Power items like power ankle in the Battle Tower. Do they add or double EV's?

Also, Nice guide just a question, Do those pokes train anything else apart from what their supposed to?

Can't you just fight wild pokes for EV's they all add up to the same amount right?

No. They only give the EV's I listed. And I'm not sure about those Power items.

Re: EV training Guide - 05-27-07

Power items give +4 in the specified EV it is (Power lens gives +4 spec atk, power anklet gives +4 speed EV, power bracelet gives +4 atk, etc). They boost +4 EVs to the specified stat from ANY wild pokemon you fight.

So, if you were to fight a wild gastly, you would get 1 Spec atk EVs by default PLUS an additional 4 from a power lens resulting in +5 spec atk EVs. If you were to have Pokerus too, it would result in 10 EVs. Macho brace is alright, but if you have the patience and Battle Points, get the power set and EV training will be nothing.
