Worst moments in Pokemon games?

I know that there were probably many threads like this before but...I don't see one. Post your worst experience in Pokemon (like using a rare item in a useless way). Oh, and before anyone starts flaming me for liking Pokemon: If you're just going to flame people for enjoying a franchise, then don't post.

In a lighter tone: My worst moment was when I let my sister (who was about 4 at this time) play my Pokemon gold game. She saw a wild...Sentret (I think) and threw MasterBall at it. I didn't know about it until AFTER I saved the game. I had a rough time catching the Legendary Beasts because of that.

I had finally managed to find Latios adter hunting him down for absolutely ages, just to go to my box and accidentally let him back into the wild instead of a stupid Surskit that was next to it.

I didnt play Emerald for almost 2 weeks because I was so angry with myself.

Well in my leaf green I was busy battling Moltres and Articuno and when I faced them both.....Moltres fainted with my stupid critical hit and Articuno fainted from getting poisoned and I tried throwing my timer balls to catch it but it was too late :(

???...The Legendary Birds don't appear in double battles (or together)...They each have a specific location where you can battle them. And you have a HUGE chance to save before you fight them so either that's the most fake pokemon story ever (no offense) or I'm missing out on something (probably not).

its true I did face them but not together. I forgot to say I faced Moltres on Mt. Ember and Articuno in the Seafoam Islands and I lost them both

In Pokemon blue I threw my only Masterball at a Golbat. I could never catch Mewtwo but my lvl 100 Charizard could weaken him down to within an inch of his life. I even put him to sleep and threw ultra balls but I still couldn't catch him. I'm not even sure if it's possible to catch Mewtwo with an ultra ball

Similiar to another of my stories. In Crystal, I saw a shiny Golbat (pink,) and I wanted it so bad, I freaked out. I just threw my MasterBall. Then I was screwed for the Legendary Beasts in that game also.
Until recently(Pokemon Fire Red:) ), I never had a legendary beast, save for the Suicune in Crystal.

I have a very similar story to yours, Seph. I was playing my Crystal version, When I found a sandslash in the Victory Road. My friend (who I hate now, and no not cause of this, You have to be reallly stupid to hate your friends cause of a video game) told me to catch it with a Master Ball because it was 'Rare'. I believed him and wated it on the Sandslash.

When I was playing Sapphire once, I killed the Kyogre cause I didn't know it was legendary :rofl:

Yeah,it does like kinda ordinary.
(I knew it was Legendary thanks to serebii.ne-I mean,thanks to my instincts of obviousness)
