Welcome to the Official Team Tourney! Read below for rules and guidelines, and how the tourney will work.
Basics:
How it works
You and a friend will be match up against another team of 2. You will each play one of the two people on the opposing team. If you win, but your teammate loses, all hope is not lost. You still get to continue, but your teammate will be knocked out of the tourney. Same if you get knocked out, and your teammate wins. You will be knocked out of the tourney, but your teammate will continue. If you both lose, your team is out of the tournament altogether. If you both win, you both continue.
How to sign up
To sign up, simply post your name, friend code, your teammate's
FC.com username, your team name, and the Pokemon you will be using throughout the entire tournament. Be careful who you choose though; you wil have to stick with this team! sign ups start as soon as the thread is posted, and will end in either three days, or when we get 8 teams. (16 people) Whichever comes first.
Rules and Guidelines:
Battles
Battles will be fought at lvl 50 Singles, unless people from both teams can agree on something else. We will be using a bracket system. Just fight whoever it tells you to. You have 3 days to complete your battles. Once you battled the person who you have been matched with, both the loser and the winner need to PM me who won, and who lost. If you do not battle within the time limit, you auto forfeit, and are knocked out of the tournament.
Banned Pokemon
To keep from have overpowered teams, there is going to be a ban on ALL legendaries, and ALL ubers. Using them will get you AND your teammate kicked from the tourney.
Other rules
There is to be absolutely NO hacking. No hacked stats, Pokemon, moves, natures, abilities, ANYTHING. Anyone caught hacking will be kicked from the tournament, along with the teammate of the hacker. I also reserve the right to kick anyone from the tournament at any time.
