Im also against hacking. Just another excuse to be lazy. I mean, if your just gonna hack stuff, why play the game? The whole point is to train and raise pokemon to your own liking and work hard doing it. If you just hack left and right then you pretty much take all the playing out of this game. Want a metagross with perfect stats? Nah, who needs to train for at least a couple days...lets just hack and get it right now.
In the grand scheme tho, i guess hacking, under certain curcumstances, isn't horrible. Like today, someone who shall remain nameless, hacked his game in order to get an arceus and shaymin for the slel reason that he knew he would never go to a nintendo event, and wanted to get the pokemon for his dex. Or if you are training up ur pokemon and wanna teach em a tm u don't have, then u use the tm hack and get whatever u want.
But other hacks are just stupid. Like getting 999 stats on a pokemon. Great, so you can own anyone that comes in ur way. But now why are you battling? U can't say its to test your skills against other people nemore. Or if you hack for shinys. Why do you want a shiny so bad? Its not like they're any better then any other pokemon, they just look different. "Oh, but they're rarer." Well, not when you have an ar they're not.
So, to answer the verall question of the thread, certain hacked pokemon are a big whup. But no, just because its hacked doesn't automatically mean u shouldn't trade for it or w/e, but if you've hacked a pokemon that goes against the games normal paramaters for that pokemon (hacking attacks, abilitys, stats) then yes, they are a big deal. Then your not playing cuz its fun. Your playig cuz you're a cheater that just wants to beat people with unbeatable pokemon.
Man...thats the longest rant ive ever frickin done...the only rant i think ive ever frickin done
