Yeah well think about this. How about that guy that actually got an event Pokemon, raised and cherished it. When he wants to trade it to find something else, how is he supposed to trade it? A hacker can just whip one up for ya, the legendary Pokemon are legendary for a reason. If everyone has them, what makes them different from a Caterpee? It ruins the, "Value" of the Pokemon. It does matter how you get these Pokemon, because when the time comes for me to trade my Dialga no-one will want it, because a hacker simply spent 10 minutes and made 40 of them, while I spent maybe 3 hours catching, training and naturing mine? And what's the difference? There is none, except for the fact that I was wasting my time. Maybe it would be better if EVERYONE had AR so we could all hack Pokemon with 999 stats, that way it wouldn't be cheap! We could simply plug in AR, and in 10 minutes have every Pokemon we want. No need to actually PLAY the game.

i personally dont have any grudge against a hacker, your right, they did buy the AR so it seems fair for THEM to have it. i have a problem with hackers who hack pokemon and start giving them away. i msure you have all seen this

things like that make legit pokemon worthless and unwanted. how would you feel if you had that rare shiny pokemon to trade, but nobody wanted it,seeing as how a hacker already gave it out to a whole bunch of people?

like i said, if your going to hack, keep it to yourself. you paid the money for the AR and sure, hack all the pokemon you want. however, dont disrupt the friendcodes pokeconemy.

Like devilmonkey said, it's just a lazy person's way to get their Pokemon. Too lazy to catch a rare wild Pokemon so you hack it to easily run into one. You hack a shiny encounter because you're too lazy to chain. You hack legendaries or event-only Pokemon because you don't have the patience to wait for an event, or can not get to one and don't want the Pokemon enough to legitimately trade someone for it. YES, there was an event for Celebi; I know because that's where I got mine. It was called the 10th Anniversary Journey Across America event that went on in malls all over America and where you could compete in a tourney and get the "event" Pokemon (with 10ANIV as their OT) that people love here on this site.

BUT, I really don't care if you do it. I may think you're lazy or selfish, but I wouldn't tell you that you can't do that or that you need to stop. You bought the game, you're free to do what you want with it. But respect other players enough to not lie when asked if you hack or trade hacked Pokemon as legit Pokemon. You are right; some event/rare Pokemon are probably tainted in some way. Which is fine as long as you let people know that they are. And if you want to test out a strategy quickly by creating the Pokemon with AR, then by all means go ahead; just don't use it battles with other players without their consent, so that you're a fair player and exhibit good sportsmanship. The game is about putting in effort into raising your Pokemon and using the experience you gained along the way to triumph against others of your skill level, who worked just as hard as you did. If you take out the effort part, how can you really be proud of a win?

You can specifically choose which level you want the wild pokemon at. Before you go around saying "lulz u r neva haxxred b4 k" make sure you have correct information.

It's just the feeling of having something "genuine". It's the same thing with buying Diamonds over Cubic Zurconia. (spelling problem?) They look the same, but one is "genuine" while the other is "cheap". Now, if everyone were to have an AR to hack and have every pokemon they want, what's the point of even trading? or even playing?

You know, there are good arguments for both sides and I can't really side with anyone considering that both sides made good points. Now talking from experience, I admit that I own an AR but for GBA ONLY. After reading so many rants against hackers, I put it upon myself to refuse to buy AR for the NDS; putting into consideration that hacking is being pretty lazy and shouldn't be used to max out all stats. I, myself, have never hacked to max out all stats (honest to god truth) but to simply get pokemon I want/need in the wild. Now somebody mentioned before about people putting a lot of effort into training their pokemon or whatever. To defend a few, but not all, hackers . . . some of them actually (like me) just use AR to simple catch a pokemon they want/need in the wild with REGULAR stats. And, like myself, have trained those pokemon from whatever level they were caught at. My point is just that not all hackers are bad and some actually (who are as stubborn as me) take about as much time to train their regular hacked pokemon as any other person with their legit pokemon. I AM against those who use it to max out all stats and create powerful pokemon. As for trading them, don't really know what the big deal is especially if they have normal stats and don't affect your game. I have kept my AR to myself and just wanted to put my two cents in this debate.

to make everything clear for me, i got an AR for free. (sort of) so, im not like those ppl who buy an AR just so they can showboat on stuff they have or can do in video games, which are fake and cheap.

all i have to say is wow at this...i mean i have AR for ds and gba but before u kill me let me explain .... i do NOT use it for online use i would never do that. some one just gave me the gba AR i didnt even know how to use it O_o but when i got seeded in acww like a year back i was soo mad because i put hard work into my town and it was just gone....i bought AR ds NOT to seed ppl but to try and fix my town.

now pokemon wise there are codes out there to do max stats and get lv.100 pokemon in the wild....i however play the game all the way though before hacking anything.... even now i still play and i dont hack. NO i DON'T use any hacked pokemon when battling. i EV train and breed to get moves i want or shinys just like everyone else on this site. even if u ever see my game hubs for shiny starters i bred a ton of eggs to get them....all my shinys are legit.

i hack for MYSELF not anyone else .... hopefully i wont have ppl hating on me because im a "haxor" and hopfully ppl wont be like "oh its doggie the haxor...get her"...
im one of those nice hackers that will help u in acww or pokemon if asked ....

i personally could care less if i get a pokemon thats hacked if fact i find it funny when i get a hacked pokemon for my legit pokemon...i just start laughing because all pokemon are the same no matter if the were hacked or caught. (excluding hacked stats of course)
but some of u r right its not fair that some of us can just get what we want because we went out and bought the AR for 20-40 bucks....

i guess im sort of 50/50 on the whole thing but i do get angry when hackers get put down because someone got PWN at mph or sumthing not all hackers are like that ...some are good lol [like me]

what you said was completely wrong, legendaries aren't rare because everyone can get them, duh. This is what you just sed: legendaries are meant to be rare' but everyone can get a diagla/palkia/heatran/giritina/azelf/uxie/mespirit and cressilia. good rant you made Don:what is everyones problem about hacked pokemon, it's not as if you are making a proifit in cash, it's just for people who have completed the game endless amount of times, who want am event pokemon cos its impossible for them to get one,I live in england, the only event pokemon we've had here are lvl 70 starters, and a mew, Japan, have everything.
