How to get a lucky egg...the slightly easier way

Ok I just got a lucky egg today. I heard this method and changed it slightly to make it even easier. BTW lucky eggs have a 5% chance of being held by Chansey.

Things needed:

• You will need a Pokemon with compound eyes that is level 18
• a Pokemon with trick or a move that steals held items,
• lots of repels.
• (optional) get a smoke ball

Why:Apparently compound eyes will double the chance of a wild pokemon will have a held item if it is first in your party.This means that the Chansey you find will have an oval stone no matter what unless it is holding a lucky egg. It has to be 18 so that when you use the repel only level 18 Pokemon and up appear. Chansey should only appear at level 18 using this method. You need trick or another stealing/swapping move because it is much easier than catching hundreds of Chanseys. Repels help keep away other Pokemon. The smoke ball lets you escape from Pokemon.

Method: Go to the Pokemon mansion. Before you see the master of the mansion SAVE! This is important to getting Chansey to appear. After you save talk to the guy. He will tell a new Pokemon he saw in his trophy garden. press OK until he tells you. If it is anything but Chansey then restart. If it is Chansey wait for the butler to leave and save. Now Chansey will be there for the rest of the day but it is still rare. Go into the garden with your compound eye Pokemon first in the party holding the smoke ball. Use the repel and run for your life. If you encounter Pokemon there are only two Pokemon you should see. level 18 Pikachus and Chanseys. If you see Pikachu run from the battle. If it is a Chansey switch to your Pokemon with the stealing move. Use the move to steal the item. (good ones are switcharoo, trick, thief) If you use the move make sure the user is holding nothing. If you get an oval stone run and put it in your inventory and try again. If you get the egg you have succeeded!

Tips: I used an Alakazam with trick to get the item. You can get one in fire red/ leaf green in cerulean cave. Butterfree and venonat both can have compound eyes. Be patient this may be an easier way to get a lucky egg but it is still hard and takes time.

The Lucky Egg: One of the best held items ever. It increases your experience points gained by 50%. get one if you want hight level pokes faster (by training that is).

The perfect pokemon is a Stantler w/ Frisk and Theif - it frisks its foe to check what held item it has, so you don't have to waste PP on the Chanseys with Oval Stones.
