Re: EV training Guide - 12-11-07

The post was okay, but it felt like alot of the info was coppied from the EV Hotspots Guide at gamefaqs.

Also, another good tip is the power items. Power Items give you a straight bonus of 4 EVs of that given type. Meaning the HP power item will give you 4 HP EVs if you get one HP EV from the enemy you're fighting. That 4 stays constant per enemy. This is also still doubled by PKRS meaning that, using the example of cowgirl shelley, who has 5 Bidoofs (if i'm wrong, correct how many she has :0P )gives you 50 HP EVs per battle, meaning you only have to fight her 5 times, then make your poke beat on a single, lonely bidoof somewhere else.

Actualy, Evs are awarded WITH EXP. That means per poke.

EDIT: They also only give the Evs if they match the EV you get in the battle. So if you fight a Bidoof, you can't use a power item to get 1 HP EV and 4 Attack Evs.

Already did, my team was fully trained that way and the stats all landed where they should given their IVs. I also reversed checked them using EV clearing berries.

EDIT: If you can find a website to back your claims, post it here. Serebii says its during EXP awarding and SMOGON says in the item discription

Opponent would be per pokemon, since thats when the important stuff happens. Gamefreak wouldn't mess things up by adding a second, extra process to give your pokes EVs seperate from their EXP.
