Do you still use the Pokeball Trick?

ive done this since my first pokemon game. blue then i went to silver and stoped playing.now i have diamond:). oh but i just mash a repeatidly and spin on the d pad i almost HAD mesprit that way.(im still trying to catch that little thing its not even an inch tall how can it break out of a pokeball!!!)

I use down + B. I'm sure it's fake but I'm a bit superstitious and I've just fallen into the habit ever since I first got Pokemon Yellow in the fourth grade.

i used to use it. but then i realized the pokeball trick is all a part of us and that you can catch any pokemon you want by putting your mind to it;). that's how ive caught over 400 types of pokemon:rofl:

I used to turn around and not look at the screen, and it makes me think that I have a way better chance. Because I don't know if its a coincidence or not, when I tried like 15 times to catch a stupid gligar w/ an Ultra Ball, it didn't work, then I used another one and turned around, and I caught it! Same with the legendaries, when I look, I fail, when I turn around, I succeed!
