Catching Articuno?

Well i know you catch it on FR/LG but im going to import it into pokemon diamond...but anyways i poisoned it and then it had VERY VERY little HP like 1 or sumting and i threw a ultra ball and it got out instanly and died. I saved my game before hand so i can do it again and again but i really wana catch it. Someone help please? :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

I think paralyzing actually improves the capture rate more than sleeping, and I like it because they can't "wake up" from prlz.

Actually, I always make them go to sleep, I always found it effective. I have all three of them and I think Articuno is the easiest to catch (caught it within 10 turns:)). Just buy 50 ultra balls and use sleep or parlyz.

use ultra,sleep,ultra, lower defence,lower defence lower defence,sleep,then ultra, dont use master,its a key into getting mewtwo,once you get 60 pokemon you can go to celarean cave to catch mewtwo,which is easy if you saved the master

Whoa, don't use Master ball. I caught my Mewtwo in an ultra ball as well. Use the master on the LF/FR version of Lati@s, Suicine, Raikou or Entei.

Put it to sleep, have a ton of ultra balls, and just try to false swipe it to 1 hp.

Sleep is more effective but paralysis is more permanent. Burning or Poisoning the pokemon isn't an option as it will kill them (as you've found out)
