garchomp is GONE

Um, no website is gonna tell me what pokemon i can use, I payed for the game, so i choose what pokemon i can use. A legit Garchomp i admit has great attack/speed, but its so easy to K.O., only noobs think it should be banned. I do agree that TRUE ubers like speed deoxys arent fair, and shouldnt be allowed in a "standard" match. And plus, may i remind you that Cynthia used Garchomp in the Pokemon League? Uh, if u can beat that Garchomp, why not others? To really understand how Garchomp isnt really an "uber" you'd hafta actually train and battle with one. It has HORRIBLE defenses and is easily blown away with an ice move. If you do happen to encounter a Garchomp, send out a high hp, defense or sp.def pokemon like Milotic, who can survive a blow from Chompy, or a fast pokemon like Gengar, who can out run Chompy, and put him to sleep before he can slam ya.

yeah i agree ive fainted many chomps before its not like one garchomp took out my whole team ever the only problem i have with garchomp is he looks ugly from behind

I personally consider Chomp not Uber, just OU. Nobody can tell me or others what to use or what not (the rules are just between the battlers) They are all Pokemon.
@eggdude: You aren't right in every way. A YacheChomp, ScarfChomp or SubChomp might be quite a pain.

i really wish they would un ban deoxy i dont care what form , since i dont do uber battles my deoxy just sits thereand gets dusty

i dont own a deoxy , but if i did he would just sit there and be dusty lol

cynthia's garchomp has no ev's just the base stats at that level , which makes her chomp even easier than a non computer opponent

Her Garchomp did not use Yache Berry's or a Focus Sash and didn't use the many movesets that made Garchomp infamous

Garchomp's Pros
- Sand Veil lets it on average dodge 1 out of every 5 attacks
- Massive 130 Attack
- Yache Berry removes it's x4 Ice weakness
- It 1-2HKO's everything in the game after an SD.
- Defenses are slightly superior to Swampert
- Nothing in the game can switch into it after a SD.
- SD + Dragon, Fire, Ground coverage = Epic
- The only thing that can threaten a KO on it are scarfed dragons and CB Weavile who are all OHKO'd by Outrage.
- Versetile
- Outspeeds all non uber, non scarfed dragons.
- Powerful Dual STAB moves give it near perfect coverage.

Garchomp's defenses aren't bad. In fact they're greater than one of OU's sturdiest Bulky Waters, Swampert.

Cynthia's Garchomp had a terrible moveset and no EVs. Besides who has a specific pokemon is irrelevant to this. Cynthia could have Arceus itself but it still wouldn't be any less Uber.

I think everyone has faced Garchomp before and everyone knows how broken it is. It's defenses are again, better than Swampert's and Yache Berry takes care of it's Ice weakness and can threaten a OHKO on Milotic. Neither Gengar nor Milotic or any pokemon in the game can switch in without take huge amounts of damage.
