I've said it before and I'll say it again ((especially as with speed deo))
just because something can't function in ubers doesn't mean it belongs in OU.
personally, I believe manaphy has it's rightful spot in ubers, because with it's solid 100's for base stats, a mere two weaknesses, and the ability hydration, it can take hits, rest up for FULL recovery in a single turn, and with it's almost mandatory rain dance, you also boost it's STAB attacks.
oh, and did I forget to mention tail glow? yeah. it's like throwing nasty plot onto this already uber-worthy pokemon.

I know its barely used in Ubers, but thats not my point. Fact is Manaphy isn't that broken in OU once you think about it. Sure it has Hydration which is completely shut down by Empoleon and set up bait. Surf / Icebeam is probably the attack it has and Empoleon could strike back with Grass Knot. Surf / Knot is much easier neutral damage to Empoleon and set up bait to both Dragonite and Salamence mainly ..

I dont know I just think it should be OU, but thats my opinion. I want to hear other opinions

grass knot isn't even going to dent it.
in fact you'd be doing MORE damage to it with empoleon's surf.

Haha, true it will probably do jacksh!t damage to it. I guess it's between Uber and OU for me.. I just find it real weak in the new OU today

The same reason Deoxys-Speed is barely used. Rain Dance, Rest, Surf, Toxic. That right there will do serious doo-doo to most OU teams, the only thing that outright walls it is Empoleon, but that in turn is outright countered by Magnezone anyway.

The reason Manaphy isn't used in Ubers, is because things like Arceus and Palkia hang around, and when you're using Kyogre, adding a Thunder weakness isn't that appealing.

I think i read that somewhere but we should remove the BL tier regardless. It causes confusion now that smogon has eliminated the tier, especially when playing on shoddy without BL and in the UU tourney curently going, Moniker has encouraged the use of the smogon set for tier listings since ours hasn't been updated accordingly. I say we should remove BL from here for less confusion and disputes when UU battling.

breloom should be uber. it fits uber standards.
1. nothing can switch in on it safely
2. it has no counters
3. it takes more than 1 pokemon for a definite counter
by rules that makes it an uber, same as garchomp.

think about it this way.
Say you have a scarftran out, and you just killed the opponents pokemon with earth power. they switch in breloom. what do you do? stand there and look like an idiot, because you can't switch anything in on it.
seriously.
the best counter for breloom is noctowl, and honestly, when was the last time you saw a noctowl flying around wifi?

EDIT: lum berry pokes counter it. my bad. once again though, how often do you even see lum berry?

I think we need to move Empoleon,Porygon2,Flygon and Kingdra all up from Borderline to Overused.

Empoleon: It has twelve resistances and we all know how good it's Special Defense,Special Attack and hp are. Some key resistances are Scizor's Bullet Punch and U-Turn.

Empoleon has the potential to be a very threatening late game sweeper with the right support. Using this set is fairly simple. Bring Empoleon in on one of the 12 types of attacks it resists, then Agility on the switch and Sub down to a Petaya Berry boost while activating Torrent, and finish with STAB Torrent Surfs coming from 529 Special Attack. As a bonus, Empoleon resists nearly every priority move in the game, including 4x resists to the wildly popular Bullet Punch (Scizor) and Ice Shard (Mamoswine and Weavile). Unlike sweepers that utilize the pinch Berries, these omnipresent threats will not end your sweep - barring critical hits.

Porygon2-Porygon2 with Trace has enormous potential in blocking some of the most common sweepers in OU even if they have some stat boosts already. Calc taken (borrowed) from Smogon:

He can switch in on Heatran's Fire Blast, Vaporeon's Surf, and Jolteon's and Electrivire's Thunderbolt/ThunderPunch respectively without and fear and even the chance or recovery.
Flygon: Choice Scarf has named itself quite the name as a late game sweeper. With U-Turn he far outclasses Salamence when given a choice item. I really don't have to go into Flygon because he is all over wi-fi.
Kindgra: A Kindgra with one Dragon Dance is scary and behind a sub almost guarentee's you a sweep. And it is not very hard to get a Dragon Dance behind you. With so many scarf'ers now just switch into something Kingdra can resist and get yourself a free set up. And a Kingdra with Swift Swim in the rain is almost unchallenged in terms of speed. Kindgra's STAB+Rain boost water attacks are no joke.

Special props to Smogon for all quotes and damage calculations. Take this all into consideration when deciding on those Pokemon

Sumeet.. have u noticed that the entire list needs to be re-done??

Empoleon, Flygon and Kingdra are all OU pokes now since BL got eliminated.
Porygon 2 is a UU pokemon.. he can take on intimidators like you said but i would say he should stay in UU.
There are lots of UU pokes that are thought should be in OU. I'm sure everyone has a couple good ideas about moving some around but its just easier letting smogon do the hard work.

I'm not sure if anyone uses this list and it definitely needs to be updated but since jibs is doing enough (in my opinion) with the unfair gamers list, either someone else should take on the job for updating the tier lists or we should just have links to smogon's tiers in the rules thread and any FC exceptions should be posted there (if any really need to be put up).
