If you know i was wondering what is the whole list of playable pokemon in pokemon mystery dungeon? is there syther? or steelix?

IDK the whole list B/C the game is my sister's, but Scyther is playable. Steelix isn't.
You're supposed to take a test and depending on how you answer, you will become a Pokemon. You get to choose your partner Pokemon, though. Not the Pokemon you play as.

I just keep restarting and doing it until i get the one i want!

yeah i do that too. i have mystery dungeon red, and mystery dungeon time and darkness i need blue the wii ones (although i have no wii:/) and sky then my crazy chikorita obsession will be complete. i have chikorita's on all but one my less far darkness im a charmander and have a blastoise and mudkip. if any one needs help on mystery dungeon time go to my profile and message me because i am at level 84 and i am like the ultimate dungeon master so i can help you in most dungeons just put your dungeon, floor, and code and wait awile and i will do it

If the Pokemon is in the game, it is playable.

Both Genders : Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Chikorita, Torchic, Treecko, Mudkip, Piplup, Turtwig, Chimchar, Skitty, Munchlax, Meowth, Pikachu.

Partners: All of above with the exception of the normal types and being unable to pick the same type.

Sky version:

Starters :

Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Eevee (female only) Vulpix (female only)

Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Phanpy (male only)

Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip

Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Shinx (male only), Riolu (male only)

Partners: All of above, including normal types, and Meowth and Munchlax.

That's about it.
