Adopt a Noob!

For those of your older members still lingering around on the forums, perhaps this will ring a bell, for those of you newer members, allow me to explain.

Usually in elementary school or middle school, when there's a new student, the teacher assigns a student to help the new student out and to learn the ropes. This is how Adopt-A-Noob! would work on the site.

New members would request a member, and a member would be assigned to help them.
InspectorFish suggested we do this with GFX as well. A member would be assigned to a member and would help them with GFX. You get the big picture.

Our problems in the past have been that we didn't get enough members, or it didn't work out in general. This is why we are creating a poll, if you members want us to try to make this work, vote on the poll to let us know! Also, this means we'll need your help to run this!

Well, I think I've explained enough, now the rest is up to you!

I like the idea. We, the members, get to teach new noobs the rules and conduct, the features of this site, the community, etc. Sign me up (even though this idea hasn't come into fruition yet).

I actually like this idea a lot. I know I'm not a pro at GFX, but I know enough to get a nooby started at a good path. So yes, I would adopt a Noob :3

I'm happy to see alot of the positive feed back guys! I've actually gotten a few members who were asking to be adopted, we can't do much about that now, but this is a really great start guys! Thanks!
