Well if not garchomp, maybe metagross? It gives me a pseudo legend with good defence, a steel type, and an exploder all in one.

Anyone who would leave Umbreon in on a Fighting type is quite honestly stupid (it being the last thing you can use is a different story). Not to mention there are also tons of Pokemon with attacks that hit other types (Gengar CAN learn Focus Blast, a FIGHTING attack), and then finally, HP Flying is a SPECIAL attack being used on a Pokemon with a better ability to use PHYSICAL attacks, and HP Flying also results in being a rather stupid type to use anyway since Steel types would still resist and wall Umbreon. Your suggestion failed in so many ways, it wasn't funny.

Getting rid of T-Tar is one thing, but make sure you use something that's in the OU.

And dude, just edit your post, double posting is frowned in general upon the entire internet, barring a bump to a rather old subject. As for replacing T-Tar, it wholly depends on what the role is. A good wall would be Bronzong, a good sponge would be Metagross, and a good sweeper would be Salamence.

Yeah, I have to admit, my umbreon is purely physical based. Screech is in there so I can hit steel types (6 curse 3 screech).

I know. I usually switch to zard if a steel type comes in. I don't get why I should ditch fire blast for flamethrower, fire blast has more power, and the wide lens means it almost always hits.

Yeah. But if my opponent sends a steel type in first, I can switch. If they send it in second or third, I can switch because umbreon has done it's job, and could come back as a last resort later. And I can curse up more than once thanks to pp up.

Also, I am gonna use metagross rather than T-tar. It has better defences anyway, so yeah.

Sorry, I'll start post editing now.

Umbreon shouldn't be in on a Steel type anyway since it won't have a chance to use 6 Curses or 3 screeches, and being able to switch out or screw your stat ups also make the idea less viable.
