    GeoStall

    GeoStall

Its not on par with Obi Stall or Kevin Garratte stall. But this is the stall team I have been using for quite a while now. The team was based around a duel intimidate strategy with Hitmontop/Gyarados, which was first introduced to me by Pokemonisfun. It utalises entry hazards and phazing moves as its primary method for racking up damage, but every member of the team also has an attacking move.

    Roserade (F) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Spd
    Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
    - Spikes
    - Toxic Spikes
    - Energy Ball
    - Rest

Roserade works well as a lead due to its surprise factor. Most people expect you sleep powder and switch in their sleep fodder, while you sit there spamming the spikes button. Toxic spikes are here for when I need it, most of the time toxic spikes are useless, but stall teams and some pokemon like Shaymin are just useless when toxic spikes are down. Roserade also handily removes opposing toxic spikes, making stall/semi stall much easier to handle. Energy ball is for Rotom forms, as sets like Sub Charge beam and Sub Split can be a pain. Rest is obviously for recovery and works well with natural cure, I find rest much more useful than I had first theorized. The ev's maximize special defense to allow me to set up a many entry hazards as possible on opposing special attackers. I got the idea of Roserade over my previous Skarmory from Bluestars torment team.

    Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Intimidate
    EVs: 248 HP / 248 Def / 12 Spd
    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
    - Waterfall
    - Roar
    - Rest
    - Sleep Talk

The best physical wall, intimidater, rest-talker phazer etc. around. Gyarados checks loads of physical attackers as well as some mixed attackers like Infernape. 12 speed ev's to outspeed other Gyarados, helping me against other stall teams. Gyarados generally just spams roar for entry hazard damage and scouting, healing up when necessary.

    Hitmontop (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Intimidate
    EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SDef
    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
    - Rapid Spin
    - Close Combat
    - Foresight
    - Rest

The best rapid spinner in the game. Hitmontop can abuse Foresight + Rapid spin to remove entry hazards against any team (unless they have 2 ghosts). Max defense was chosen as I found this the most useful ev spread, taking hits from things like Sword dance boosted Lucarios and Infernapes. Hitmontop is never 2hkoed by a 252 special attack Rotom's thunderbolt allowing me to rapid spin in a 1 vs 1 against most Rotoms. Close combat is a necessity for Curse Snorlax and Curse Tyranitar, it also has decent power for other threats. Rest is chosen because toxic spikes, w-o-w and entry hazards damage rack up, it works because I have heal bell on Blissey.

    Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 Def / 80 SAtk / 176 SDef
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
    - Softboiled
    - Heal Bell
    - Seismic Toss
    - Icebeam

The best special wall in the game. Blissey comes in to take on almost all special attackers that would otherwise cause problems. Max defense with a bold nature because Blissey can take physical hits really well. 80 special attack to help break Sub split Rotoms subs with Icebeam. The spare 176 evs go into special defense because Hp evs aren't that useful on Blissey and the extra special defence seems really helpful. I'm using Heal Bell because I have 3 rest users and its a really useful move on a stall team, helping out against other stall teams. I am using duel attacks to beat Rotom/Gengar/Zapdos/Raikou/Cm sub Raichi etc. I'm using Ice beam because Dragonite and British Gliscor are a pain.

    Heatran (F) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Flash Fire
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Spd
    Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
    - Stealth Rock
    - Protect
    - Lava Plume
    - Roar

The best SR user in the game, also the most used pokemon in the game. Sp.def Heatran comes in to take out the anti-Blissey pokemon such as Wish Calm mind Jirachi and Sub roost Zapdos. Protect is for leftovers recovery and scouting Flygons, Lava plume was chosen as the STAB move for PP and the burn chance, Roar was chosen because phazing moves are amassing and I have spikes. Max Hp, Max sp.def is used to take as little damage from these pokemon and the extra 4 evs go into speed to beat other sp.def Heatran to the roar.

    Rotom-W @ Leftovers
    Trait: Levitate
    EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SDef
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
    - Thunderbolt
    - Wil-O-Wisp
    - Rest
    - Sleep Talk

The best spinblocker in the game. Max hp, max defense was chosen for Gyarados, a huge pain for most stall teams. I'm using Wil-O-Wisp for pursuit users, dragon dance Dragonite and SD Scizor. 252 Hp means I take more residual damage, so I went with 248 and sacrifice on the leftovers recovery, the rest goes into maxing out defence with the remaining 8 evs being put into special defence. Rest-talk keeps Rotom healthy and works well with Blisseys Heal bell.

Pretty nice, Starmie can get around the team though, taking away your hazards once Rotom is beaten down with a couple Hydro Pumps. Rotom might benefit from some more special defense EVs.

It looks good, but idk how I feel about a pure stall team. It only takes a Taunt and what will you do then? As an anti-lead I used Heatran with SR, Taunt, Lava Plume and Earth Power. That lead alone would shut down Skarmory and Heatran. True Blissey could do some damage to him with seismic toss, but once she has a taunt on her, she's a lame duck.

Hitmontop and Rotom-W can be handled by a choice specs user with Psychic/Shadow Ball aka Gengar who will outspeed both and isn't affected by spikes.

The only ones that can be hard to stop are blissey and gyardos seeing as they cover each other's weaknesses fairly well. But, your Gyarados is physically defensive when it has intimdiate. I'm usually playing white now, but a good set that I use is this and it works very well.
    Gyarados@Leftovers
    Adamant Nature
    Intimidate
    140 HP/ 44 Attack/ 100 Def/ 200 Sp Def/ 24 Speed
    -Substitute
    -Dragon Dance
    -Waterfall
    -Bounce

This gyarados is bulky, but can be a sweeper. Attack and speed EVs are optional given the fact that you are boosting with DD. But, I always feel that some is better than none. Your main weakness is electricity so hence the heavy EVs in Sp Def. You have intimidate to weaken the opponent's attack. Pretty much, you'd Sub, DD, waterfall or Bounce. Bounce would allow you gain an extra turn to help up more with leftovers and the chance to paralyze the foe and then make them flinch with waterfall for paraflinch. It's an idea to try. It works well for me. I used the gen 5 dream world ability, so i wouldn't have to boost as much, but intimidate is useful.

It's a fairly solid team, but I think you'd need at least one poke to just attack. Maybe you could have togekiss for more paraflinch chances? The thing is once that gyarados picks up steam, it's a monster. If you were going to go for a purely stall team, then I'd say run a Hail team because it can probably do it faster than your team could.

Oh, 2 more things. I would recommend Starmie over Hitmontop seeing as you already have gyarados for intimdate and gyarados isn't even covering hitmontop's weaknesses with a physically defensive EV spread. Starmie can be a faster rapid spinner and a form of revenge killer with access to Surf, Thunderbolt, Rapid Spin and Psychic. It can handle the opponent response to Heatran and Blissey, fighting types with psychic. Psychic can take out Gengar, also. And, Rotom covers the electricity weakness. And the Bug, grass, dark and ghost are covered by Skarmory and Heatran, so there's still good synergy. Lastly, your team would have a hell of a time against Defensively Bulky Gliscor with Taunt. He would be neutral to SR and would ignore spikes. And your gyarados having no Attack EVs would have a difficult time, especially if he had EdgeQuake + Taunt + Roost. Just an idea to consider.

    Meet your demise!!

    Dragonite (M) @ Life Orb
    Trait: Inner Focus
    EVs: 56 Atk / 252 SAtk / 200 Spd
    Rash Nature (+SAtk, -SDef)
    - Draco Meteor
    - Fire Blast
    - Superpower
    - Roost/Extremespeed

Behold, this is what Salamence left us with when it became Uber but it still gets the job done. This will will 1HKO or 2HKO everything on your team and with no proper way to revenge kill him. GG :]
