First RMT - Uber style

Ok so this is my first rate my team and i thought i'd throw up a new ubers team and see what people think. :D

>I switch jirachi to deoxys-s as my lead mostly because of his 504 speed, which means even MOST of the scarfed pokes in uber won't outspeed him. i went with clay over sash because of said speed. even though he's frail he'll be able to get one off, minimum(barring scarfed mewtwo, darkrai or something not 90 or 100 speed like most ubers are, also maybe prankster taunt

New addition to ubers and a sexy one if i do say so myself. thunderbolt and dark pulse get great coverage after a boost. focus blast is shaky but has been useful. i usually have to wish into this guy cause of his Ds.

blaziken w/ wide lens should run stone edge for better coverage +99% hi jump kick and 88% stone edge is dece. Groudon isn't as useful then. flare blitz under the sun is beast only problem is w/hi jump kick and flare blitz, protect and recoil can be a problem especially recoil w/life orb.

As far as ubers go, it looks alright I have a few pointers though from what I've seen:

1. Rapid Spinner may help in this case, Thundurus can be frail and since he's in Ubers now, he can't afford to lose HP that easily from Stealth Rock.

2. I would be wary of Sun Abusers since they are aplenty in this gen. While some are less threats, they are threats nonetheless; Leavanny (don't laugh I'm serious would you want a CB X-Scissor/Leaf Blade against Groudon and Darkrai?), Venusaur, etc.

3. I would very much watch out for abusers of sun i.e. fire types because they will do some damage. I faced an all ubers team with my OU team. I KOed most of his team with my Heatran. He made the mistake of putting in Drought Groudon and (not saying you would do the same thing) but he hit Heatran with Sacred Fire from Ho-Oh. I tore through his team like paper with my Heatran. Solarbeam/Overheat can be a problem for Jirachi, Groudon and Shaymin. Maybe a nice Water Buffer would help? Rotom-W perhaps? Or you could even do Rotom-H who would have STAB Overheat and STAB Thunderbolt and resists BoltBeam. He can absorb the fire and grass with ease.

Just an idea to try :-)

thanks for the tips. I was even thinking a dragon for STAB dragon plus key resistances, maybe giratina-o latios or something. just the ice might be a problem but if i take out thundurus or shaymin itd be the same, almost..

Can I suggest that you could change his set to this:

~Hidden power ice

Since your team doesn't have much support Pokemon this could help you slow down faster Pokemon like Mewtwo, Darkrai, etc and can help you to prevent Pokemon like Lugia and Ferrothorn from setting up screens or Stealth rock. Also i see that you have Jirachi as a lead but in my opinion she's not that great in the Uber Metagame. I would suggest changing her to Ferrothorn since he can take more attacks and set up spikes as well.

He kinda works like jirachi w/dual screens instead so he can still provide support and help my pokemon set up (plus light clay)

Well Deoxys-s isn't that bulky but you could try it out. Also that Thundurus will do great just needed that Thunder wave in there haha

Yea i think he's so fast though so he'll at minimum get 1 off only problem now that thundurus is uber is that prankster taunt is the only* thing that can really outspeed him and prevent a screen(deoxys atk is too frail, def is to slow for screens imo) Also he beats out most scarfs in ubers with his speed.

I liked thundurus very much when he was OU, but the frailness of him put me off since he's weak to Ice and Rock and is prone to Stealth Rock damage. I usually ran thundurus with Focus Sash. He could get at least one ThunderWave or Taunt and attack/switch out. But I've also used bulkier pokes like Prankster Whimsicott who has access to many great prankster moves including Stun Spore, Leech Seed, Substitute, Encore, Cotton Guard, etc. While it may not go great with Drought, it could be an idea for other teams :-)

True, rapid spinners definitely help, but realisticly whimsicott isn't much bulkier and thundurus is for sure better as a sweeper even with prankster, especially in ubers. but at least one prankster move is reasonable with bolt/beam coverage.
