Ok for the starter I would take ambipom1 then for the walls, Cressilia and dusknior, then heracross and feralgatr as physical sweepers, porygon-z as the special sweeper

1. Weavile
2. Skarmory (Give it Shed Skin over Leftovers.)
3. Whichever Blissey you want, Aroma-Cleric or Wish-Cleric.
4. Dusknoir (Make it Defense-100, Sp.Def-156.)
5. Electivire
6. Heatran

That should be a rather effective team. Motor Drive + Skarmory, Flash Fire + Skarm/Weavile. Weaviles weaknesses are covered by Dusknoir and Heatran. Blissey and Dusk can paralyze or poison and burn. Heatran adds more resistances and can scare Skarmory. Also, Dusknoir covers Blissey's Fighting weakness, and Blissey covers Dusk's Ghost.

For the changes, Shed Skin prevents Magnezones from K.Oing you, and they're sure not to expect it. The EV change for Dusk makes it a mix wall, since you already have a Defense and Special Wall.

Re: Help Choose pokes for a new team^_^ - 09-29-08

Lead:
Physical Attacker:
Salamence • Focus Sash/Life Orb if you don't lead.
Nature • Naive
EVs, Attack-96, Sp.Atk-162, Speed-252.
Moves,
• Dragon Dance
• Fire Blast
• Dragon Claw
• Earthquake

A pretty basic idea. Quasi-MixMence. Fire up a DD on the first turn, then sweep. Dragon Claw for easy coverage, and Fire Blast and EQ to cover both variants of Steel types that'll resist dragon moves, such as Skarmory and Heatran.

Special Attacker:
Heatran • Choice Scarf
Nature • Modest
EVs, HP-4, Sp.Atk-252, Speed-252.
Moves,
• Overheat/Fire Blast
• Earthpower
• Dragon Pulse
• H.P.[Electric]

Heatran combines nicely with Salamence. For instance, it double resists ice, it resists dragon and rock normally effects it. And likewise for Salamence, it resists fighting(+Intimidate), and Ground has no effect and it resists water.
This takes out Explosion for more coverage. Gyarados may try to come in against Salamence and Ice Fang, and with H.P. Heatran can take it out. Overheat for more power, or Fire Blast for repeated use without attack decrease.

Special Wall:
Cresselia • Leftovers
Nature • Calm
EVs, HP-200, Defense-220, Sp.Def-88.
Moves,
• Moonlight
• Calm Mind
• Ice Beam
• Charge Beam

This is kind of a spin on it. Calm Mind plus Charge Beam. This of course gives it a some what inferior Bolt/Beam combo, while that soon will not apply, since most likely you'll be getting a free stat boost when you attack with Charge Beam, which will save time using Calm Mind.

Revenge killer:
Weavile • Choice Band/Scarf
Nature • Jolly/*Adamant
EVs, HP-4, Attack-252, Speed-252.
Moves,
• Pursuit/*Night Slash
• Ice Shard/*Ice Punch
• Brick Break
• Ariel Ace

Since Weavile is hardly used for this purpose, it'll catch most opponents by surprise. Overall, standard sweeper set. Band is essential to make up for Pursuit and Ice Shards low base damage, and also adds a STAB type boost to Brick Break and Ariel Ace.

* = use if Scarf is being used.

Physical Wall:

Weezing • Leftovers
Nature • Bold
EVs, HP-204, Defense-204, Sp.Def-96.
Moves,
• Pain Split
• Will-O-Wisp
• Flamethrower
• Thunderbolt

This gives it max stats of 322 HP, 360 Defense and 200 Sp.Def.

Wish-Passer Cleric:

Vaporeon • Leftovers
Nature • Calm
EVs, HP-196, Defense-136, Sp.Atk-56, Sp.Def-102
Moves,
• Wish
• Baton Pass
• Surf
• Ice Beam

This suits the team well. Covers Salamence's ice weakness, and also Heatrans Water weakness. You can replace Surf for H.P.[Electric] if you wanted to.

Some of this wasn't on your list, but this is a pretty solid team. Hope you found it useful!
