- U-turn / Fire Punch??
- Brick Break
- Payback

Fake Out inflicts damage and flinches my opponent, then U-turn to a counter Pokémon before my opponent gets a chance to attack me. The Fight / Dark combination of Brick Break and Payback is there for coverage. This set will not inflict as much damage as other sets, but it is a much better team player. Standard poke.

I've thought about giving Ambipom fire punch because steels have been a commoon switch in to it.


Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Jolly : Poison Heal
44 HP, 252 AT, 212 SP
- Spore
- Stun Spore
- Superpower
- Seed Bomb ThunderPunch??

A less seen but an annoying and useful set all the same. Once Breloom is brought out, I put my opponent to sleep using Spore, and then, on the presumed switch, use Stun Spore. This is great when used correctly and can really cripple normal switch ins to Breloom such as Gyarados and Salamence. My last two moves are Sky Uppercut for STAB and Seed Bomb for coverage.

I think Superpower is a much better option than sky uppercut is. It has a higher base power and it has better accuracy. I've tested ThunderPunch on Breloom a little bit instead of Seed Bomb but I can't decide if I want to keep it or not. Its been giving me headaches all day. Suggestions please.

Wacan berry gyara is just a beast. Wacan berry does the exact same thing for gyara that yache does for chomp / mence / nite. It weakens the electric attack (allowing me to survive) while I DD. The speed EV's allow me to outspeed max speed starmie after one DD and then I can KO.

I've been testing Outrage > Stone Edge and I'm not sure which move I'm going to use yet. Suggestions please.

Some people may think that i should use calm mind instead of light screen but standard pokemon are ghey. Wheres the fun in that?? With light screen and charge beam I accomplish the same thing that calm mind does except I can deal damage while stating up AND i can support the rest of my team. The way this works is to switch in on a physical attack (or weak special attack / ground move) and then use t-wave. Then I set up light screen and begin to use charge beam. If i need to switch for some reason then the sp.def boost is still there for the rest of my team. Psychic is for stab and infernape.


Tentacruel @ Choice Scarf
Modest : Liquid Ooze
30 HP / 252 Spa / 228 Speed
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- HP Electric
- Rapid Spin

This is my main mixape counter and imo it is the best infernape counter there is. It can switch in to ANY of mixapes attacks and then KO's with surf. Most people expect to be able to KO with their mixape on the second move so they stay in not knowing that I am scarfed. Surf OHKO' s 100% of the time. Ice Beam and HP electric are simply for coverage. Together they form a nice boltbeam combo. Rapid spin is to clear away stealth rocks which helps keep salamence alive.

Lonely : Intimidate
80 Atk / 196 SpA / 252 Spe
- Brick Break
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Crunch

This is my late game sweeper. He comes in when my opponent is weakened and the counters are gone and sweeps. Not really much else to say here, its pretty standard.

I changed the EV's up on mence a bit. What do you think?

Wacan Berry Gyara is a beast because it will have to take a really strong Electric attack to KO it. Always gets a DD boost, even against Gengar and Azelf, who realise they've been screwed and either face the almighty Waterfall or run away like they just saw a Gyarados =O

mainly cress shouldnt have light screen because calm mind does the same thing but only for you.

Wacan Berry is alright one time use. And youll still get damaged. lefties is better.

Switching out on a t-punch, tbolt or any electric attack is better.

With wacan berry i can set up on anything tho. You cant do that with lefties. Sure lefties is nice but the point of gyara is just to deal damage and make things easier for mence to sweep later.

i know i would not want to face this team. its very over used but it is a very strong team

i would give it a 9.999998/10

my only concern is your mixape counter tentacruel. it would work perfectly but you need to be wary of an Earthquake. its something to be aware of. i dont think you ened to worry about that a whole lot because noone else on your team is weak to EQ and only 1 other pokemon can even be hit by EQ

Yes sub brelooms are tough but they are EXTREMELY gay. Besides thats to standard for my tastes. I <3 making original sets.

great team

It may be over used but i'm using 4 original sets. The only 2 standard pokes on my team are ambipom and mence. I do need to be wary of earthquake but I have been using this set for a long time. It was one of the first pokes I ever trained so I'm very familiar in how to use it. Thanks for the rate.

It is an easy revenge kill for tentacruel.

Many threats that can seriously cause major issues,

To start off, SD Lucario will eat your team with with ease. If you can't Rapid Spin away SR and it comes in and SD'd on you, it's game. Mence + Gyarados will die to it's Extreme Speed. As they both seem to be not so bulky.

Next threat is Deoxys-S. Your only hope really is to not DD on it's Thunderbolt and hit back with Waterfall. Then again, a Lucario Deoxys-S Combo will kill you.

I'm also liking the originality of that Tentacruel, but I don't like how it has Rapid Spin + Scarf. Main reason is, when you outspeed their <insert rather quick Pokemon here> they will know it's a scarfer and would definitely bring out a set-up Pokemon, which in general rape the team. Hell, Life Orb Gyarados tears you down as well once it gets a DD. Stone Edge, Ice Fang, Aqua Tail. After a DD, certain LO Gyarados will 2HKO your Cresselia. But meh you have Tenta :p

So yeah. Lucario and Deoxys-S, suggestions is to remove one of your fliers to be less SR weak, but then again, that would beat the existing balance in the team.

EDIT: Please cut the "Too Standard for my taste" crap. All your Pokemon are Standard barring Tenta. PS: The only reason I'd use a Scarf is to be Bulkier + Fast, and not to be hit with a SD TP for SE.
