My Horse Field

HI, This is my own story, but I am willing to open it up so that people can join in to my story!

"Hey Mom, Would it be ok, if we got a horse to put in the back yard?" Kayla asked Taylor, her mom.
"Well, I think so, just go ask your dad in the back. He's in the shed working this morning." Taylor replied.
"Oh ok," Kayla said "I'll go ask him, then i'll head out to the bus. Thanks Mom."
"Ok, be safe and don't get into any more trouble than you got into. Remember u did something that u got into and got in trouble?" Taylor ask Kayla. "Yes," Kayla replied "I do remember that, I won't. I will not do that again."
"Ok, just make sure you don't," Taylor said.

[Rekop]

Kayla: 'Dad can we have a horse in the back yard?'
Dad: 'Sure, what color do you want the horse to be?'
Taylor: (From inside house) 'Dinner is ready!'

Kayla and Dad: We will be there in a few!
Kayla: Ummmm... I don't know right now!
Dad: Ok, well let me know what you want and i'll see if I can get you one.
Kayla: ok. Ty Thank You ,Daddy, SOOOOOO much.
(Each other gave each other a warm hug!)

[Rekop]

(Kayla and dad go inside house)
Kayla: Okay dad, I though about it and I want a white horse.
Dad: Alright, we are getting you a white one.
Taylor: This is so exciting.
Dad: Yeah, but first I'm gonna show you how to ride one.
Kayla: Mkay, thanks dad.

(Kayla is headed off to the school bus.)

Taylor: How are we going to get the money to get the horse for her?
Dad: I guess I will work longer days.
Taylor: Ok, Is that going to hurts us trying to pick Kayla up?
Dad: I'll see what I can do. Then I will tell you what I think I will do. Ok?
Taylor: Sure, Ok.

[Rekop]

* Kayla Returns from school. *

Kayla: Are we getting the horse today?
Dad: Yes
Kayla: Awesome, when are we going?
Dad: Right now.
Kayla: Wheres the car?
Dad: I sold it.
Kayla: Why?
Dad: So we can get you're horse.
Kayla: Aww, thanks dad.
* Kayla gives dad a hug *

Kayla: Ummmm....... What are we waiting for? Why are we just standing here?
Taylor: Oh ok... Well.... we need to finish what we are doing right now, then we will go and go look!
Kayla: ok... While you are doing that I will go put my stuff in my upstairs room.

After Kayla finished with her stuff and went down stairs. She was lightly headed out the door for the car! A few minutes later, outside was a horse comes down the street with a lady on the saddle.

~Kayla walked to the horse and nicely asked if she could pet the horse. The lady told her that she could and that her name was Bella.~


Taylor and Dad: Kayla, we are ready let's go.
Kayla: ok.

Kayla (to the lady): Thanks for letting me pet her. May I pet him again another time?
The Lady: Oh, Sure, I'll leave a note on the door of when you could come over to my house and see the other horses that I have and my cell phone number so you could call and make an appointment to see them. Thanks. Well.... You better get going.
Kayla: ok. Thanks, Bye.

[Rekop]

* Kayla gets on car *
~ Half ways through, the car suddenly stops. ~
Dad: Oh my, I think where out of gas.
Taylor: You see what happens when you don't listen to me?
~ It was nigh time, hardly anything you could see. ~
Kayla: What are we gonna do now?
Dad: Don't worry, will walk to the nearest gas station.
Kayla: No, I got a better Idea. Mom, can i borrow you're cell phone?
Taylor: Yes, for what?
Kayla: You'll see.

* Kayla is dialing lady's phone number *

Kayla tells her dad do you even have gas money to put gas in the car or did you lose your job.
Dad tells his daughter yes honey I did and we are going to lose the house and maybe have to move.
Kayla says dad I do not want to move please.

Kayla: Hey, Umm...... Are you busy right now? what are you doing right now?
The lady: Ummm..... I am putting my horse in the barn and checking to see if my horses need any water and feed. Whacha need?
Kayla: We have a problem with our car. We are heading to go look at horses and halfway through our gauge told us that we are out of gas. I had a thought that you could help us by giving us a ride to the nearest gas station so that we could go back to our car and get back on tract to go look for a horse for us.
The Lady: Sure, Sure. I come right after I finish. OK?
Kayla: Ok. Bye.
The Lady: Bye.

~Kayla hang up and hands the phone back to Taylor~

Taylor: What did the person say?
Kayla: She told me that it would be ok for her to come pick us up and takes us to the gas station for gas and brings us back. Do we have the Gas can in the back right?
Dad: yeah, I'll pop the trunk so you could get it.

~Dad pops the trunk and Kayla head to the back to get the gas can. Then Kayla closes the trunk and sits back down in her seat.~

Kayla: Dad, do you have money to put in the car? or Did you lose your job?
Dad: Yeah, I have enough money for the gas, and some extra. If the gas is not to high, we have enough to pay some for the horse that you choose. I will have to make payment for the horse, but we do have enough for that.
Kayla: Ok, Thanks.
