It may just be an error loading all the images, I know on the DSi you run out of space real fast, maybe it is like that on the Wii. When you open the page you are having problems with, try clearing the Wii's browsing history.
I have an idea!!!!! go to the forums, go to Nintendo descusion -> nintendo wii -> Wifi games (wii) -> any game! and you can start a chat room/check if one is open, from there!
Hmm... works fine for my wii, the only thing I don't like is the ability to not type fast. (which can be solved with a keyboard) Hmm... if this is happening with other things too then you could look at google. =)
