Arcade Tournaments

I don't know if this has been asked before and I'm sorry if it has but I've noticed some of the tournaments in the arcade aren't advancing even though all the games have been played, is there anyway to make them advance, one of mine "froze" right before the semi finals and I think I have a really good chance to win the tourny.

They don't but I enjoy them

they annoy me... because if you get the highscore or something while playing a tourney game it doesn't put you on the list...
