The groups system is possibly the best thing FC could have gotten for the moment. Now clans can make groups that can be a place to discuss events, matches, etc. But I think that when a group is private, only people in the group can see what everyone writes. I mean, it really isn't private. So it should be made so that only members of private groups can see what goes on in the group.
Moderators should be able to peek in but just for moderating purposes.

Yeah, it's weird entering a private group but being able to see what everyone says. I agree with your idea and groups are good for clans like you mentioned before.
Also pictures should be hidden.
