Ripway.com is a good alternative since I have tested it out.

1. For this site, simply make an account, then click on my files, then upload a file.

2. Upload an mp3 and then wait a while. It may say that you have no space, but ignore that.

3. You will then get a direct link when it is done. You copy that link and paste it into the area in the mp3 widget settings.

1. Click on Post New Song on the left side once your at the websit

2. Upload it and fill up what you can for the Music Infomation3. Once your done, you should see your music and click on the number thingie (Ex. @13015 : Star Locket)

4. Click on Download(0)

5. Copy the URL and Paste it into your widget

Since Mp3space died, I removed it from the list. I added 2 alternatives. I hope to add a few more soon so all of you can get your favorite songs in your profiles. But for now, bear with me and use these sites.

I'm just curious, but is there any way to just disable your own ability to hear other people's noise things? There's nothing that annoys me more than checking out someone's profile only to get blasted with some random song because I left the sound turned up too high. -_- (and I don't want to just mute my computer, because I want to listen to my music ;P)

Yeah, On the box that says "Widget" There should be an arrow or something with 2 ^'s
Click on it and it should seal the box off with it- and you wont hear the song...It works for me.

I think this might be a better substitute than Ripway (tried using it, but widget plays rarely) and Filefreak, but I'll post it anyways.

Another thing that I find missing from this thread is a Youtube mp3 file generator for those songs that you normally can't find on google or are unable to download for some unknown reason.

For those who are wondering how to get this to run, here are the steps:

1. Find the youtube link of the song that you want to use. (IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ADD "&fmt=18" TO THE END OF THE YOUTUBE LINK TO MAXIMIZE SOUND QUALITY)

2. Copy and paste the youtube link into the text box of the VidtoMP3 site and click the download button (There will be a blue bar underneath it that will display to you the conversion status of your song).

3. When it's ready, click the "download mp3" link. After being taken to the download screen, click the first option to download the mp3 to your computer (For faster access, make sure you have your downloads redirected to appear on your desktop).

4. Upload your newly-acquired mp3 to your host site and use the "DIRECT LINK" of the mp3 (it's better to right click the mp3 link in your files and select "copy link location").
