Requesting Awards

You may have noticed that you now have the ability to request certain awards in the awards showcase. You will be able to request dozens of different awards for different purposes.

However we must set a few ground rules...
-First do not request awards (Other then those for post count) for yourself. If you deserve any award some-one will take notice and nominate you eventually.
-Second don't spam award requests, try and keep them to once a week or less. When you have 5,000+ members all requesting awards twice a day, then the thread all the requests get filed into fills up and we miss the people that truly deserve awards.
-Provide good reasons for why people deserve awards, it definitely goes a long way. Links to profiles and galleries are a good way to do this.
-Not all award requests will be accepted so don't PM the staff asking why we didn't give so-and-so some award.

That's about it, as always if you have an idea for an award PM me or any other staff member and we'll consider it.

So i just click request award, put down my username, and if the other members of staff think i deserve it, ill receive it? Is that correct?

EDIT: Sorry, i never read it through properly. I requested the 1,000 post award for myself. ^_^

I propose something like a poll to decide if a member deserves an award. An election, if you will... Vote for me and I'll give you a cookie.

This is a great new system. I agree with Chaoszero, I think the system shouldn't be abused and used wisely. I like the new system.

Alright, well here is my question. ChaosZero, you told me that since the staff does not have the time to look at everyone's Animal Crossing Towns, that I would be in charge of deciding who deserves the Animal Crossing Cool Cat Award. Has that changed now?

Edit: Can you also to replace "Created By Estavan" With "Created By Divine_E" ?
