I got all of my awards, but if you contact a Mod or Admin, then I'm sure they'll be happy to give you the rest of your awards back. =)

No, they won't be shown at the top of your profile. There is a bar/tab near the profile comments that says "My Awards".

Which awards are you missing?

The staff went by this image, which was a screenshot I took about a week before we upgraded.

If you're referring to the 2008 awards, those awards are going to be archived somewhere else on the site. The recipients for Annual Awards will be listed under each award like a "Wall of Fame" for each year. That's one of my next jobs, lol.

Also, we removed the random awards. For example, the blue, red and green mushroom awards and everything like that is gone.

Now the big question is - what's the difference?


First, any awards you have will display differently in your profile now. Go to your profile and you should see...




A "My Awards" tab. Click on this, and you will be directed to your own awards showcase, which would look something like this...



Now each award displays neatly, with the award issue reason, a funky little sprite, and a link back to the award description so that anyone visiting your profile can click on the award to find out what it's for.



Speaking of funky little sprites, if you do have any awards, you might want to take a look at the bottom of your posts, as it may look something like this...

Full credit for those little award icons, most of which are entirely hand-painted, goes to my boyfriend A13x. Isn't he useful? <3
