Awards System Upgraded and Live!

Hi all!

We've finally finished upgrading the awards system. As you know, this meant we had to completely remove the old awards system, re-add all the awards, and then hand them all out again. A big thank you to all the staff who gave a helping hand!


Now the big question is - what's the difference?


First, any awards you have will display differently in your profile now. Go to your profile and you should see...




A "My Awards" tab. Click on this, and you will be directed to your own awards showcase, which would look something like this...



Now each award displays neatly, with the award issue reason, a funky little sprite, and a link back to the award description so that anyone visiting your profile can click on the award to find out what it's for.



Speaking of funky little sprites, if you do have any awards, you might want to take a look at the bottom of your posts, as it may look something like this...

Full credit for those little award icons, most of which are entirely hand-painted, goes to my boyfriend A13x. Isn't he useful? <3

Well, I say this new system is great. I like how the sprites are at the bottom of each post. I give this a 10/10. Great job everyone who helped make this happen! =)

EDIT: Also; the awards won't be shown on the top of our profile, right?

No, the awards only show in the "My Awards" tab.
Personally, I think this is an improvement.
