Name Change Week is a-coming.

Now that Name change week has started, please read ALL OF THIS THREAD, as well as these notes:

- Names such as 'Mario' or 'Sonic' will almost definitely have been taken. WE URGE YOU TO SEARCH THE MEMBER LIST FOR YOUR USERNAME BEFORE SUBMITTING A REQUEST. This will save a LOT of time. You can do that here:

Hey guys!

So, that time of year is upon us again. Name change week. A week that everyone is entitled to 1 free change of the name.

Although, this year, a few rules are being put into place.

• If you are restricted, or we feel that you do not deserve a name change, then one will not be given. Remember, this this a privilege, and if you don't follow the rules, you don't deserve them.
• Name Change weeks occur every 6 months. HOWEVER, it is now in place that if you get a name change, you will have to wait a year until to can change your name again. When your name is changed, a date is put onto your profile notes. The Name Change week will happen again 6 months after your name change, but if you file for another one, and it is apparent you have not been a year with your new name, then the change will not be made.
• Whilst symbols look real cool in your name, they make the Mods and Admins job a nightmare, as well as many coding issues with URLs. From now on, NO SYMBOLS WILL BE ALLOWED AT ALL Only letters and numbers.

The Name change week will take place from Monday, October 12th to Sunday, October 18th. Any name change request made before or after these dates will not be considered.

In the application, please state clearly what you wish your name to be changed too. You will only be able to view and post in your own thread. If the name is unavailable, we will let you know.

The Name Change Request forum will be closed until we are ready to start taking applications.

Remember that they must comply with the site rules, which means no vulgar language or innuendo of any kind. And try to be polite. Manners go a long way.

Requests posted in an Admins visitor messages, private messages, on their profile or in this thread WILL BE IGNORED.

And most importantly PLEASE BE PATIENT. The Admins deal with hundreds of name change requests during this week, and it is very easy to skip someone or make a mistake. Please do not lose your temper because of a small mishap. If you have followed the rules correctly, then you WILL get your name change, even if the request period is over, but you submitted it in time.

I think I have my new name picked out already, not revealing as it might not be what I want to change it to just yet. OMGSH this is like a birthday present for me :>>> (Oct. 12 is my birthday ;0).
